I offer a quiet, stress free environment and an exclusive one on one experience. I take one pet at a time and treat them like I’d want my pets treated, including treats and breaks! I also work with pets who have anxiety, health issues, or just need a calm, exclusive salon. I have been grooming for about 14 years and have many certifications such as all NDGAA breed groups, Pet First Aid & CPR, grooming and handling geriatric and obese pets, and am AKC S.A.F.E. certified.

I was recommended the Pawsmetologist from a Reddit post where I asked the Salt Lake community for a good dog groomer for my pup, Boba. We took Boba here for his first groom (even though he is over a year old) and we were really worried about him and whether he would be scared and okay. Alaina completely understood and empathized with us as well as Boba’s situation. She was great with him and sent us pictures and updates through the whole process so we stayed involved and comfortable. We adore his finished cut and are definitely now permanent customers of Pawsmetologist. Highly recommend, even for scaredy pups like ours. The pricing was very reasonable (65 for bath, cut, nails, ears, teeth, I don’t think she needed to express his glands but that is also included per the website description). If you’re looking for a great groomer, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Oh and the bandana was complementary. 🐾
Ive brought my new puppy Misha over to Alaina for her puppy introduction and her full schnauzer cut and I could not be happier! Alaina is well informed on different breed cuts and really helped me come to a decision on what was best for Misha and I. Misha is always so excited to see Alaina and always comes back smelling fresh and looking good. I recommend bringing your pup to her 100%!!
Alaina is very professional and incredibly kind! She is so caring about the animals and an absolute sweetheart. We brought in our long haired tabby cat who had never had such an experience. He enjoyed his time and look’s incredible!
We’ve been going to Alaina for nearly two years now and she is absolutely one of the best out there. We have a very spicy miniature pincher and she knows just how to deal with him. The furbabies always come back refreshed and smelling so pretty.
Alaina is amazing. We truly love her. She’s been our four-legged baby’s groomer for a couple years now and she never disappoints. We feel so comfortable leaving our doggy with Alaina since she is always treating her with patience and kindness. I myself am a witness to how well she treats our baby Willow. My dogs love Alaina! My dogs are super anxious and she does so well with them! She gives them the time that they need which I appreciate. She also gives them the cutest bandana and flower necklace after their groom. We have followed her to other salons since we love her so much! So glad she now has her own space in her home!
I have been bringing my Aussie Zen to Alaina for five years, and I will never take him anywhere else. She is an expert at what she does. Zen comes home looking like he is ready for prom every single time! She does fantastic work and treats my baby with so much care and love. I feel at ease every time I leave him with her. I don't have enough kind things to say about her and her work. Do yourself and your fur baby a favor and see her. You will not regret it!
I went to MANY groomers before I finally found Alaina. She is the most talented groomer I’ve ever gone to and really knows her stuff. The dogs love her and no detail is missed when I pick them up! I have a Newfoundland Poodle and a Golden Retriever that see her every few months. My golden is pretty aggressive with the dryer and Alaina has been able to work with him and find solutions so he isn’t anxious or aggressive. She offers the best service at a great price.

Alaina was an absolute gem with my Strider boy. He can be a bit of a handful when it comes to grooming but she was about to wrangle him and the results were fantastic! I love the little touches she adds with dog perfume and a custom scarf. Strider seemed to instantly take to her too! I have already raved about her to friends and will continue to do so. If youre looking for a sweet and loving groomer, I highly recommend Alaina!
Brought my puppy in for her first introduction to grooming after reading all the good reviews! Alaina was so sweet with her and she came out looking so clean, shiny, and happy. Alaina did a great job at explaining to me what she would be doing and communicated what to expect. Will definitely be back!

I have been here a couple of times and my big boy has had issues with others in the past. Alaina has been so good with him! Even going over for our second visit he was so excited to even be there, no anxiety no nothing! I love how she just focus on the dogs and talks with you on what she will be doing step by step. Honestly fantastic I am so glad I found her. Would give higher rate if I could.

Alaina is absolutely the best. Not only is she the dog whisperer, but her work is exceptional. We get compliments on our pup s grooming everywhere we go. Pawsmetologist (Alaina) has been our favorite groomer. We have followed her around for years now regardless of where the grooming shop was so that we could have her cut our pooch s hair. Im hesitant to brag on how truly wonderful and awesome Alaina is with my crew because selfishly I want to ensure she always has space for us on her schedule! In all seriousness, Alaina is so talented and patient. I have several dogs, most of which are special needs, and she takes gentle, patient care with them all. My fluffy kiddos come home clean, no matting, and beautifully cut. My short-haired babies shed less, smell good, and always have a little pep in their step. You know they feel good! Hands down the best grooming our puppers have ever received. We didn t have to clip stray hairs that could possibly have been missed (like with previous groomers). Our puppers took so well to her, and the care she gave both of them was impeccable. I was very very pleased with the level of service and price! 1000% recommend.

Alaina does an incredible job grooming my Labradoodle Oliver. She is so talented and knowledgeable and will make sure you understand the whole process before leaving your pup with her. Im very protective over my dogs and I am so grateful for the love and care she gives Oliver. Her space is very clean and organized. Oliver always looks AMAZING after his grooming appointment. Alaina has been our groomer for three years now and I ll never go anywhere else! Shes super friendly and takes such good care of my dog. He s extremely comfortable around her and gets excited when we drive up for his appointments. Not to mention she was extremely patient during his puppy phase while he got used to being groomed and was a bit chaotic in personality. Prices are great with top tier services. I ve never had any complaints. It s also super easy to schedule, she s very flexible with booking in advance and shorter notice. 5 stars all around!

If want someone who is genuine in character who will love your pup and make them beautiful, Alaina is your groomer! I have an Irish Water Spaniel which is a rare breed. No one knew how to cut her properly and not make her look like a poodle. I came across Alaina. She went above and beyond to learn how to cut my dog and the results are amazing! So much she used my pup for a show and they placed 2nd! A wonderful surprise for all!
Alaina is the best groomer we ve ever had! She treats our two schnoodles like her own, and they love being with her. She is very knowledgeable, kind, and the boys always look so handsome when we pick them up. We have one pup that has epilepsy and is sensitive to certain touches, but with Alaina s patience and calming demeanor, we never have concerns or issues. She is truly the best at what she does!

Alaina is a wonderful groomer. She took time with my Wheaten who is a senior to trim her up. With my Wire Fox Terrier, she took loving care of her. She did a great job hand stripping her. It s hard to find a great groomer as Alaina! I m glad she is my groomer!
